bamboo bridge madavoorpara

Thiruvananthapuram ancient natural attraction is  Madavoorpara 

 situated 300 feet above sea level.it  is a favourite destination for pilgrims and tourists.

 It is famous for its cave temple and Bamboo Bridge.

History is in the rock-cut Shiva Temple here that dates back to the 9th Century CE. 

The rock shrine currently under the protection of the Department of Archaeology has a inscriptions in Vattezhuthu, the ancient Malayalam script.

 The temple has archaeological and historical significance. 

Walk up to the hill through the Bamboo Bridge is  a serene and can enjoy natures beuty.

 The 100 m long Bamboo Bridge. Besides the bridge, the bamboo huts atop the rock  with a panoramic view of the surroundings

 A park for children with its swings and slides
