nagarhole national park(there is strict checking while entering in and out of nagarhole forest)

Spread over 55 acres, it is an essential part of the Nagarhole National Park, Kabini Wildlife Sanctuary includes dense forests, lakes, steep valleys and streams. A number of herbivores, especially elephants or Asian elephants dwell in their natural habitat at Kabini Forest Reserve. Considered as an ornithologist’s paradise, the park is famed for housing a number of species of birds as well.

Earlier, Kabini Wildlife Sanctuary was an exclusive hunting ground for the kings of Mysore. One of the major attractions and a best way to explore the wildlife sanctuary is via Jungle Safari.

(there is no online ticket booking for trecking we have to  go to office directly to book ticket one day earlier,,,,they will collect money 500 rs/person  and write name and adaar id number in their record,,,,,they dont give any ticket,)

While wandering in the park, one can spot critically endangered oriental white-backed vulture and other animals like eagle and the Nilgiri wood pigeon. Presence of Indian Bison in Kabini excites many.

The rippling waters of the Kabini River,

cascading waterfalls and the greenery all around make the Kabini Forests extremely enchanting.

On your tour through the dense woodlands, in a safari or a boat cruise, you might get a glimpse of animals like leopard,

 gaurs, antelopes, crocodiles, tigers,

cobras and pythons.
You might see a playful herd of elephants or a leopard, prowling behind the thickly forested terrains of Kabini Forests. Besides the animals, you will also get to see a rich variety of plant life.
