Located only 7 km north of Kanyakumari in the Agasteeswaram Taluka
Vattakottai Fort is a seaside fort near Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu ,India.
It was built in the 18th century as a coastal defence-fortification by Travancore kingdom
parking facilities available..we can see beutiful view of sea from top of fort
no entry fee

THANGASSERY BEACH..... KOLLAM
Its about 5 km from the Kollam town, This beach is an extremely popular beach of Thangassery village,
This beach has silver-colored sand and around 3 km.
There are ruins of a Portuguese fort nearby that is also worth-visit.

The light house was constructed around a century ago .
Between 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, visitors can climb up on the tower to have a nice view of the sea and the shore.
